Consider this a place holder, like a hat on the seat next to you in a theater. It is an older but expensive looking hat. It is turned crown down on the seat and you can see the words Barsalino and Beaver embossed in gold on the satin lining. It looks black but is in fact dark grey. You are alone. You look to the person sitting on the other side of this hat. Could she be waiting for its owner. You think not. She is holding hands with the man next to her and they are whispering, like lovers. Without resisting you reach out and feel the hat's brim. It is smooth and soft. 10 minutes to curtain......
